Q: Why does Hospitality House need a PO Box?

A: During the Spring we became aware that we were not receiving mail. Pieces were being sent back to the sender with a yellow forwarding sticker advising the sender that Hospitality House had a new address in Renton (we do not), but the address was invalid, so it went back to the sender. Sending cash/check donations to the PO Box means everyone can rest assured that we will continue to receive their donations toward providing home, health, and hope!

Q: Can Amazon Wish List items be sent to the PO Box?

A: No need! Since Amazon packages don’t get delivered through USPS, we haven’t had an issue receiving them. We also have a camera at our entry so we know when packages arrive. All tangible donations should still be sent to our physical address.

Q: Does this mean you’ll no longer receive mail to your physical address (1419 SW 150th St)?

A: No, the mailbox for our physical address will still be checked regularly. There are no plans for this to change, as our residents receive mail here & this is where we receive tangible donations!

Q: Will you still accept a donation of cash or check if I bring it to your office?

A: Of course! Please bring donations to the staff or volunteer in the office. If the office door is closed, knock or slide it under the door! Please ask the name of whoever you hand your donation to so we know who received it.
