Our meal program provides nourishment for body and soul.
A recipient of a home-cooked meal feels cared for no matter what their circumstances might be. Every night of the year, the residents of Hospitality House receive a hot, home-cooked meal. This is possible because hundreds of dedicated volunteers from the community share in the belief that home is more than just shelter. Sharing a nutritious meal not only shows our residents that we value them, but it also provides a time of sharing experiences. As we all know, gathering around a table for a meal nourishes more than just the body.
Although our church partners and South Seattle Soroptomists currently share the responsibility of providing evening meals for the women of Hospitality House, we welcome anyone interested in joining this team of meal providers. Would you like to shop for, prepare and deliver an evening meal to the women of Hospitality House? Not a cook or intimidated by cooking for others? Remember, the residents of Hospitality House like take-out food too!
